New Tools of the trade

As I stated in a previous post, I finally made the plunge into making my one beads for my jewelry. I have been searching around for some new tools including a ring mandrel and some clay cutters.

It has been a long few weeks trying to get the house back together after taking up the carpet to stain the concrete, so I haven't had much time to work on any crafts. Now that there is less ciaos around, I had some time to work on making beads. This is my first attempt at using polymer clay to create new beads. I used some sliver and bright blue clay to create this bracelet and earring set. The craftsmanship was not 100% but it turned out great in my opinion! I am ready for my next attempt, I just need to find some inspiration in the meantime.


This project was created using Memory wire, glass seed beads, and my own oven baked beads.
